  1. Select Start – Run.
  2. Type regedit <enter>.
  3. In the Registry Editor, click the [+] button to expand the following selection:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
  4. Select Control Panel and find the key named “HomePage”.
  5. Edit the key and set the value to “0” (zero).
  6. Go back to the beginning of the tree list and click the [+] button to expand the following selection:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
  7. Select Control Panel and find the key named “HomePage”.
  8. Edit the key and set the value to “0” (zero).
